PRESCRIPTIONS
Our pharmacists will be pleased to dispense your prescription NHS or
private. Usually we will dispense your prescription while you wait.
If you are in a particular hurry or unwell please let us know and we
will serve you as quickly as possible. We will supply your medication
in child-resistant containers unless you ask us not to. Please store
your medication safely where children cannot see or reach them.
MEDICINE SALES
We stock a very wide range of medicines and our trained Pharmacy stall
will help select the right one for you.
HELP AND ADVICE
Our experienced staff have been specially trained to offer advice on
your medication or any other healthcare matter.
EMERGENCY SUPPLIES
If you need a prescription only medicine and it is impossible for you
to get to a Doctor we may be able to help. However this service is for
genuine emergencies only. Also we have to charge the full cost of the
medication supplied as this service is not covered by the NHS.
UNWANTED MEDICINES
It can be dangerous to store unwanted medicines at home. To avoid accidents
we are happy to safely destroy unwanted medicines, just bring them to
us.
HOME DELIVERY OF MEDICINES
If it is impossible for you to get about we may be able to help. We
can collect prescriptions from the surgery on your behalf and deliver
the dispensed medication to your home. Please ask for details.
RESIDENTIAL AND NURSING HOMES
We can deliver dispensed medicines to residential and nursing homes.
We also provide a comprehensive pharmacy service. Murrays monitored
dosage system makes handling medication as safe, easy and hygenic as
possible. We also provide help and advice on the use, storage and disposal
of dispensed medicines.
STOMA AND INCONTINENCE SUPPLIES
We stock a wide range of stoma and incontinence products. We can keep
items in stock for your peace of mind and can discuss in complete confidence
any concerns you may have.
DISABLED LIVING
We can provide a comprehensive range of aids for the disabled and elderly.
A catalogue of products is available for you to browse through at home.
Again we will be happy to advise on the items most suitable to your
needs.
INDUSTRIAL MEDICAL SUPPLIES
We supply First Aid andmedical goods to factories, shops and sea-going
vessels. Please ask for details.
TRUSS FITTING
Our staff are trained to measure and fit trusses.
EMERGENCY HORMONE CONTRACEPTION
Some of our pharmacists are able to supply "the morning after
pill " free of charge without a doctors prescription . Please contact
us for details.
CONSULTATION AREAS
Many of our pharmacies have a separate private consultation area to
allow you to discuss any sensitive issues you may have in confidence.
We are investing heavily to ensure all our pharmacies provide this important
facility
COMPLAINTS
If you think we can improve our Pharmacy services please tell us. If
it is an NHS matter the Family Health Services Authority may also be
